Its 7200RPM spindle speed 40MB per second data transfer rate and 7.5 millisecond seek time deliver superior drive performance. In addition its hot-swapping support allows you to insert or remove the drive without needing powering off your server. The hot-swap drive tray is already mounted to the hard drive so you can simply slide the drive into the hot-swap drive bay of your Netfinity server. This drive features Predictive Failure Analysis which helps ensure your data’s integrity by issuing alerts of impending failures before they occur - up to 24 hours beforehand. IBM backs this drive with a three-year Customer Carry-in Exchange warranty.
