Coupled with Seagate Software Backup Exec for NT or Computer Associates (CA) ARCserve for NT these libraries can perform up to 14 weeks of unattended lights out backup.??This model of the library replaces the original DLT 15 Cartridge Library Model 1530.The 20/40 based libraries can provide either a price/performance well matched to current LAN speeds requiring high performance and capacity in an automated backup and restore system. When coupled with application software such as CA ARCserve or Seagate Backup Exec the manageability performance and capacity are extended even further through the following features. The DLT Library automatically reads bar code labels on tapes via an integrated bar code reader then passes the information along to the application software that automatically builds and updates a tape catalogue.
