Quantum DLT 8000 half-inch cartridge tape drives provide leadership in data storage and retrieval for the most demanding data back-up archive and near on-line storage applications. The tape drive features a native transfer rate of up to 6 megabytes (MB) per second with a native capacity of 40 gigabytes (GB). Building on the traditional strengths of DLT tape technology the DLT 8000 tape drives provide significant advantages in performance and capacity over any others in their class.
