Reinforcing HP's leadership position in the tape market it builds on the success of four previous generations of DDS drive technology providing unprecedented levels of capacity reliability and cost of ownership. The StorageWorks DAT 72 series tape drive is the ideal choice for small and medium businesses remote offices or workgroups. HP's DDS tape technology has proven itself during more than 12 years of use as one of the most reliable tape technologies on the market today. DAT 72 series builds on the strengths and successes of previous generations of DDS drives. The HP StorageWorks DAT 72 series tape drive has a mean time between failure (MTBF) rating of 400 000 hours at a 12% percent duty cycle making it an ideal choice for small and medium businesses.
