Overview:
This DAT tape drive utilizes DDS-3 technology to perform up to 8.4 GB/hr. New advancements in tape technology have produced a tape drive which requires less cleaning and provides improved backup/restore operations. Some of the improvements include an automatic rotating head cleaning sweeper that can be used during the write or read recovery procedure to dislodge debris from the tape path and recording heads and drive.

Refurbished Product:
This is a refurbished product. Refurbished products include Factory Refurbished products, evaluation units and cosmetically blemished units. All products are re-tested and if neccesary replacement of components is performed to bring the product up to its original, fully functional condition. These units come with a 90 day - 1 year limited replacement warranty covering parts, labor and technical phone support. Advance exchange via FedEx P1 overnight is available for any defective product during the warranty period.
