Overview:
The HP StorageWorks DLT VS 40/80 GB tape drive is the first half-height DLT tape drive qualified for ProLiant Server. With exactly the same list price the DLT VS 40/80 GB is positioned as the transition drive for current DLT 20/40 GB customers. The VS 40/80 GB drive offers a 100% increase on capacity and performance as compared to the DLT 20/40 GB while providing backward-read compatibility with the DLT 20/40 GB format. The VS 40/80 GB also uses standard DLT Type IV media.

Refurbished Product:
This is a refurbished product. Refurbished products include Factory Refurbished products, evaluation units and cosmetically blemished units. All products are re-tested and if neccesary replacement of components is performed to bring the product up to its original, fully functional condition. These units come with a 90 day - 1 year limited replacement warranty covering parts, labor and technical phone support. Advance exchange via FedEx P1 overnight is available for any defective product during the warranty period.
