The Pentium III Processor offers leadership price/performance for entry level servers faster core speeds (500 MHz at introduction with a 550 MHz follow-on) new instructions (SSE) allow faster performance for web applications snap-in compatibility with Intel’s Pentium II processor (100 MHz FSB).
