Overview:
This high-capacity high-performance backup solution for Novell networks provides housing for up to four DLT Drives giving you up to 280 GB of fault tolerant (RAID 5) storage in a single unit. When used with Computer Associates JETserve for NetWare transfer rates of up to 100 GB per hour can be achieved.??To achieve very high transfer speeds the DLT Tape Array II connects directly to the local NetWare and IntranetWare volumes bypassing the file systems and reads in data directly in a volume image mode with Computer Associates Software. It reads data from multiple disks concurrently and writes to multiple tapes concurrently thus running as fast as the server and tape drive hardware will allow.
