Overview: The ProLiant DL740 with Intel Xeon processors hot-plug RAID memory and a full implementation of PCI-X I/O delivers the performance and uptime required to meet the current and future demands of enterprise server consolidation e-business database ERP thin client compute engine mail and messaging and data mining/warehousing applications. This 4U rack model is configured with four 2.8GHz Intel Xeon processors (upgradeable to eight) a 2MB L3 cache per processor integrated Smart Array 5i Plus controller with RAID 0 1 1+0 and 5 support and 4096MB ECC SDRAM (upgradeable to 64GB).
